After watching her grandmother, grandfather, stepmother, and stepfather die far too young, Lanah has dedicated her life to helping others around her by sharing her story of a changed life. Lanah battled feelings of depression, anxiety, hopelessness, envy, and anger. She found her completion in men, drugs, and alcohol, while holding leadership positions and was a constestant on the fourth season of ABC's "The Bachelor." The testimony of how her life has turned around, has inspired many young women.
She has volunteered with Dr. Ludy Green at Second Chance Employment Services, an organization that places battered women into sustainable employment. She began a fundraising effort for the DC area Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Woman of the Year” campaign dedicated to her stepbrother, Charlie Muldoon. She is a volunteer at heart, serving others.
When the Vibrant Life diet and lifestyle was presented to her step-father, his major complaint, along with Lanah's, was that it didn't taste good. So, together, Alyse and Lanah have found healthy food substitutes to make this lifestyle sustainable.
They became students of Ed Foreman to understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, stress, and mental well-being. Lanah pursued further studies examining self talk, learning to tell yourself the truth in life, unleashing your true self by being rooted in the freedom from God's love, and the relationship between mind and body.
Lanah received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Also an accomplished photographer for her company, Grace + Gumption, she has studied with internationally recognized photographers, been recognized by the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery Curator, and traveled internationally for work.
Lanah is a licensed Health Minister, a lifelong vegetarian, and a student of health and wellness, nutrition, and exercise. Currently, she is studying to get her license in Biblical counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors and volunteers her time once a week, mentoring women from all walks of life.
